Upon arrival in Cusco (the flight takes approximately 1.5 hours), we check in to the hotel and head out to explore the city. Full-day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The Sacred Valley is considered the cradle of Inca civilization. You will enjoy a scenic walk among the impressive agricultural terraces of Pisac, including visits to the Temple of the Moon and the Temple of the Sun. Pisac is famous not only for its ancient hilltop ruins and picturesque terraces, but also for its traditional market. Local residents from surrounding villages, dressed in colorful traditional clothing, offer ceramics, textiles, sweaters, silver jewelry, and souvenirs. In addition to its pre-Columbian architectural monuments, the valley of the sacred river is renowned for its exceptionally beautiful landscapes. In the afternoon, we depart for Machu Picchu.
Early in the morning, we head to the bus station and travel to the archaeological complex. Machu Picchu welcomes you with its magnificent terraces, stairways, ceremonial structures, and residential buildings. The site is filled with powerful energy, and the breathtaking views are truly unforgettable. In the afternoon, we descend to the town for lunch, then return to Cusco by train. Evening arrival in Cusco.
Early this morning, we depart for an excursion to another of Peru’s most beautiful and famous natural landmarks — the Rainbow Mountains. Vinicunca, as the Rainbow Mountains are called in the Quechua language, is also known as the Mountain of Seven Colors. The first tourists visited this area only in 2016, and since then it has rapidly gained popularity among travelers. This is an active excursion at high altitudes ranging from 4,000 to 5,200 meters above sea level. We recommend this trip only to participants who have adapted well to the altitude during the previous days. Those who are not confident in their physical condition may choose to stay in Cusco and enjoy a day of rest
